| i have read it... it was pretty good. i liked a lot. i would rate it 4 and a half stars.(i rate inheritance and bartimaeus 5 stars). it is kinda confusing but once u get the whole consept of characters in a book coming alive, it is pretty good. for some reason i really like farid. but i haven't read for about a year so i don't remember it that well. there is a sequel to it; inkspell. that was good too. does anyone know when the 3rd book is coming out(it is a trilogy)? o and by the way, if it hasn't already been said, the author is cornelia funke. | |

| yea there really good theres 2 books so far the second one is Inkspell its about a young girl named Meggie, and her father, Mo. They live in a house filled with books, reading their stories. One night,a stranger comes to her house, a man, whose only name is Dustfinger. As time goes on, Meggie's own story unfolds, and she finds the answers to many secrets, including, what really happened to her mother, who supposedly went on a long travel. She learns her dad can like read characters out of book i thought it was really good | |

| ya, and dustfinger wants to go back into the book. and mo also read these other to people out of the same story as dustfinger's. their names are basta and capricorn and these 2 want to stay in these world and like take over the world, k, not quite the world, but they are bad people its good even though it sounds weird, also mo reads this arabian boy out of a book named farid and i like him for some reason. | |

| it is a trilogythe 3rd book is called Inkdawn and its just as long as the second book. Heres what i know aout it i copied this from a website This is what Cornelia told us so far about "Inkdawn", the third part of her "Inkheart" trilogy:
"I have more than 700 script pages - which approximates the length of "Inkspell". "Inkdeath" does not go with the story anymore. The final title will be "Inkdawn".
"Inkdawn" will start only a few weeks after the second part of the trilogy has ended - near Ombra - and you will meet again almost all characters from "Inkspell", joined by two new glass men and some more robbers. Some characters are going to play a more decisive role, such as Violante, Resa, and primarily Orpheus. This time, starting from Ombra the story will move north, not south, and ... well, I should not give away much more so far.
Presently I make provisions for the third revision"
Inkdawn probably will come out around Spring 2008. We`ll keep you posted! | |

| farid is hilarious in the first book!!! everything he does makes me crack up lauging and in the 2nd book she had to go and make im all serious and such. ah well hes still pretty awesom and like who they got to play him in the movie. Paul Bettany as dustfinger is like perfect hes seriosly so close to how i picture him! only for some reason i pictured him with red hair. | |
