| Is it "The Hobbit" by Tolkien? The tale of Bilbo Baggins which will be written in the "Lord of the Rings" as the book "There and back again"? If it is, I read it too and it's great but it's not the type of books I read and I had difficulties to read it 'cause I've got the english version only (I'm french remember ). But I liked it thought. | |

| i read it too and it is good. there's a dragon in it but it is an evil dragon and i am reading the lord of the rings, too. i am on the 2nd book. i recommand those books too but i am too lazy too make another topic for them so i will recommend them here. but the characters are alittle less personal then in the inheritance series(my favorite series at the moment). still a good story though; the hobbit and lord of the rings. | |

| I really did love this book. I thought it was cool to learn how Bilbo really came by the ring. The riddle game was really interesting to read and so was the very end of the book with the dragon. | |

| Personally, i dont love the book. its ok. I'm reading for school cuz i have to. I guess its ok. its just when like something BIG happens or somethign major, J.R.R Tolkien dosnt exactly make it a big deal. like when the Spiders come and like attack Bilbo, i was reading where the first one comes to retrieve Bilbo and for some reason it didnt occur to me that there was a spider there and something major was happening, so i had to re-read that part.and thats happened so many times... and that has never happened to me when i read a book so i dont know ahha its prob. just me. | |

| its good isnt it. but i wouldnt give it a 5. twilight is a 5, eragon a 4, bartimeus trilogy a 3, goosebumps 2, and the bible 1. now you need to decide which one it is better and worse than. | |

| Eragon - 5 Twilight - 4 The Bartimaeus Trilogy - 3 The Hobbit - 2 The Bible - 1
That's in order of preference if I was to give them ratings:
Eragon 5 stars Twilight 4.5 stars Bartimaeus Trilogy 4 stars The Hobbit 4.5 stars The Bible 2 stars | |

| Sorry.. It's close but Eragon's better... I felt more speculation about the 3rd Inheritance book than I did Breaking Dawn | |
