ya, in the bartimaeus trilogy, djinn are a type of demon and many of them are bad, or rude, but some are normal and some of them Rox my Sox to the maximum degree!!! Bartimaeus happens to be a djinn. in other books, djinn might be evil or something else, once i looked it up in the dictionary and it was kinda like a genie, but it is different in different books. btw 2cool, alexandria is a good name, escpecially cuz it is the name of a city in egypt where Bartimaeus was. did i mention he ROX MY SOX TO THE MAXIMUM DEGREE. i luv bartimaeus.

Imp's: can't manage to kill a tube of toothpaste

Foliots: Double the power of imps

Djinni: Getiing powerful, the most popular summons used

Afrit: Very very very very powerful

Marid: so powerful only idiots summon them

?????: Only powerful magicians who's initials are S.L. or Q.M. summonthem because they have enough power to destroy earth

those levels are only in the Bartimaeus Trilogy though, in other books it might be different

i think i've heard them elsewhere though before...or that could have been my imagination.

Sathon risked a glance in Alexa’s direction, but she had already gone. The stench of the goblins was overwhelming, he began to stagger, still slashing at the nearest of his enemies. His sword once silver gleamed scarlet and the water below turned a murky red. Time and time again he fell a goblin, but two more took their place.
